Welcome to Connecting Dots to God, which is about making connections between earth and heaven, between physical experience and metaphysical truth, and between ordinary people like you and me and an extraordinary God like none other.

The most frequent comment that I receive on this blog is “thought provoking,” or something to that effect. Nothing could please me more, and I invite you to explore the content of this blog and add your comments.

My name is Judy Allen. I am a student of truth, an observer of culture, an idea collector, a dot-connector and a communicator.  Jesus is my teacher and my Lord. I hold a BA in Business Administration from Valparaiso University and a Master of Arts in Communication and Culture from Trinity Graduate School in Deerfield, IL. When I’m not writing, I work at the local library, love to cook delicious meals, get together with family and friends, take a walk, ride a bike, or travel.

I write largely to clarify my own thinking, but also to…

inspire thought

challenge stereotypes

offer opportunity for discussion

to invite us all to look for God in the ordinary stuff of life

and to seek truth and glorify God.

My life is pretty ordinary on the surface, but in my heart, it is an extraordinary adventure with God. I am so thankful to be living it with my husband, Dan, and our family.

I’d be delighted if you would subscribe to this blog and add your wisdom and perspectives to the discussions.

Connections to God are all around us, and I look forward to finding them with you!

“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.  Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge.  There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard.  Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.”  Psalm 19:1-4
